Repairs and Service
Hardware purchased through Vertus Communications which requires repair, can be sent to either:
1. Vertus Communications:
- Send your handset to Vertus with an explanation of the problem/s occurring
- Advise how frequently this happens
- Please ensure your contact details are provided
OR
2. Care Centre:
- Each manufacturer has a Care Centre locator on their website. Click on the appropriate manufacturer link and you can select the location most convenient for you
- Contact our office to obtain a Proof Of Purchase, if required
Note: Manufacturers and their authorised repair centres do not guarantee that memory can be saved once a phone is put in for repair. Please save any memory (eg photos and contacts) prior to sending your phone in for repair. Any software upgrade can delete any or all memory saved in a phone.
It is also recommended that you pack your handset in bubble-wrap to ensure it arrives at Vertus or the Care Centre without being damaged in transit (ie physical damage which is not covered by warranty). Any damage to the handset in transit is the responsibility of the owner.
Warranty:
The length of time given for Warranty for handsets is generally 12 months, however this is also dependent on the Manufacturer (check your warranty card, visit the Manufacturers' website, or contact the Manufacturer for more information). Accessory warranties are often less than this.
Warranty becomes void if the handset/accessory is found to have physical damage or has sustained liquid damage. In such cases the item is returned, unrepaired & an inspection fee is charged.
Quotes:
- If the repair is outside the Warranty period, items can be sent to obtain a quote.
- Quotes can be accepted or rejected.
